RevErie brings together renowned artists from the worlds of music, food, performance, and spectacle to create a space for community-focused conversations and socially-engaged visioning for the future of the neighborhood. Building-sized installations, dramatic performances and grassroots actions will serve as a backdrop for conversation and hanging out.
We will be adding more artists to our lineup. Artists subject to change.
Kensington / harrowgate / JUNIATA/ philadelphia
A nexus of creativity & citizenry
RevErie collectively envisions a positive and empowered future for Kensington, rooted in social and economic justice. Opening its doors to the public for the first time since the 1980s, the former Acme Can Factory on East Erie Avenue between I and G Streets will showcase cutting-edge, immersive and inspirational art installations that invite the participants to consider the intersection of community and cultural futurism.
The Glass House @ 956 E Erie Ave, Philly
The now-closed Acme Can Company factory was once an economic hub for the Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia. We envision a future for the factory that will transform it into a multi-use creative hub that serves as a community center, arts facility, and economic generator for Kensington and surrounding communities.
